If you are involved in an accident during an active Wingz trip, your first priority is safety. Follow the steps below and report the accident to Wingz as soon as possible.
Step 1: Check for injuries and call 911
- Make sure you, the member, and anyone else involved are safe.
- Call 911 immediately
- If a member was in your vehicle, an ambulance must be called, even if the member says they feel okay.
- Stay at the scene unless emergency responders tell you otherwise.
Step 2: Police response
- A police report is required.
- Remain at the scene until police arrive and provide instructions.
If police do not respond because the accident is considered minor or low value:
- Document the scene as best they can and be on their way.
Step 3: Document the accident (if safe)
If you are safe and able:
- Take photos and videos of vehicle damage and the scene
- Exchange information with the other driver(s)
- Note the location and time of the accident
- Collect any police report number, reference number, or paperwork provided
Step 4: Report the accident to Wingz immediately
Once the scene is safe and law enforcement has been contacted, notify Wingz as soon as possible by calling the Wingz Accident Reporting Line at +1 (888) 537-4088 or by using the live chat feature in the Wingz Driver app.
Wingz support will notify the broker about the accident to ensure reporting requirements are met.
Please include:
- Trip info: Leg ID (or member name, pickup time, trip leg A / B / C)
- Member status: With you or en route to pickup
- Accident details: Location and time
- Emergency response: Police and/or ambulance involved
- Vehicle status: Safe to drive or not
- Member transport: Can the trip continue or is alternate transportation needed
- Evidence: Photos/videos and report or reference number (can be sent later)
Important: If you are unsure whether the vehicle is safe or the trip can continue, do not proceed. Wingz will coordinate next steps and alternate transportation.
Step 5: Follow-up and documentation
- Wingz may follow up within 24 hours to request additional information.
- Your upcoming trips may be reassigned depending on the situation.
- You must provide requested documentation, such as:
- Police report or reference number
- Insurance letter (if applicable)
- Photos or videos
Requested documentation must be submitted within five business days. If additional time is needed, notify Wingz.
