Introducing an exciting update to our member no-show process for Wingz drivers!
Since May 15th, 2024, drivers can handle member no-shows directly from the Wingz driver app. You can skip the extra step of calling Verida for validation and simply flag a trip as a member no-show right from your app, while the app tracks your geo-location.
Here's how it works:
1. Waiting Time: Upon reaching the pick-up location, wait for at least 10 minutes for the member to arrive.
2. Contact Member: Call the member and knock at the door if possible. This ensures you've made every effort to connect with them.
3. Flagging Trip: If after the 10-minute mark, the member hasn't shown up and cannot be reached, simply use the Wingz driver app as usual to flag the trip as a member no-show. The app will track and log your geo-location during this process.
4. Notification to Verida: Once you flag a trip as a member no-show, a notification will be sent to Verida. A Verida agent will then check the information and validate it.
5. Communication: If more information is needed, either Verida or Wingz will contact you directly.
Important Information:
Using your Wingz driver app to process member no-shows is mandatory to get paid the no-show fee in Georgia. If you are unable to process the no-show using the app for technical reasons, or if you receive an error message, please contact Wingz support to validate the member no-show before leaving the pick-up location.
Georgia drivers get paid an $8 No-Show fee. All other states do not pay a No-show fee.
