We're excited to introduce the all-new Wingz Driver App, launching first in Tennessee! This update includes key improvements designed to enhance your experience and ensure smoother trip management.
🚗 New Feature: Member Confirmation
We’re rolling out a brand-new Member Confirmation feature to help drivers confirm upcoming trips with members in advance.
Here’s what’s new:
✅ Confirmed vs. Not Confirmed Trips: Accepted rides are now categorized as either confirmed (you have successfully contacted the member and verified trip details) or not confirmed (you haven’t reached the member or the member declined, letting you know that transportation is no longer needed).
🔔 Action Banner for Pending Confirmations: If you have trips needing confirmation, a banner will prompt you to take action.
📞 Easy Contact Options: Call or text riders directly from the app to confirm trip details. We have updated the canned SMS messages to make it easier to reach out to members.
🔄 New Confirmation Flow: After contacting the rider, you can now update the status using three options:
- Yes, I confirmed with the rider: Trip details are verified. Wingz is notified.
- Rider declined the trip: Transportation is no longer needed. Call to Wingz support to ensure the trip is removed from your accepted trip list.
- No, try again later: You will be able to attempt confirmation again later.
📅 Pickup Day: On the pick-up date, if you were unable to reach the member before, select the option: "No, but I will go to the pickup as scheduled."
The trip will remain active, and you will need to proceed to the pick-up location as scheduled.
🔧 User Interface & Experience Enhancements
- New Categories on the "My Rides" tab for easier navigation and management of accepted trips.
- Updated mileage labels to better distinguish distance from your current location to to the pickup location.

We’re rolling out the latest Wingz Driver App feature to enhance your experience and save time. Here’s what’s new:
In-App Sendbacks
Drivers can now send back certain trips directly in the app—no need to call Wingz support!
For now, this feature is only available for Tennessee trips that:
- Have a pickup time more than 48 hours away
- Are not part of a Standing Order
- Are not TCI trips
Our support team will monitor sendback requests closely and follow up with drivers if needed.
How to use the new sendback feature

or check out the instructions below:
- Click on the more option button at the bottom of the trip detail screen
- Use the “Send Back Trip” button at the bottom of the screen
- Confirm that you want to proceed
You will see a message confirming that the trip has been sent back, or an alert explaining why the trip could not be sent back. Please check the "My rides" screen on your driver app to verify that the trip you wanted to send back is no longer listed. Call Wingz support for assistance if necessary.
