The Member Confirmation process helps reduce last-minute cancellations and rider no-shows.
Confirming trips as early as possible after accepting a trip request is important as it helps you manage your schedule more efficiently. When you use the Member confirmation status buttons on your app, the trip status becomes visible to the Wingz Support team.
If you're having trouble reaching the rider, Support can step in to help. Using the Member confirmation feature is mandatory for all Wingz drivers because it allows the service to be reliable and to continue to gain traction and build new partnerships that will generate more opportunities for drivers.

🛎️ What Happens if You Don’t Use the Feature?

Wingz Support will reach out to drivers who:

Do not use the Member Confirmation feature or skip reporting the result

Use the feature but report that they were unable to reach the rider
-
Reaching out through the app helps us support you more efficiently and helps avoid missed trips.
🔍 Where to Find Trips That Need Confirmation
You will be prompted to confirm the trip right after you accept it.
Trips that still need confirmation appear in the Needs Action folder of the My Rides tab.
The same trip may also show up in:

The All folder (for all trips)
-
The Today or Tomorrow folders, depending on the pickup date
We strongly recommend confirming trips with riders more than two days before the pick-up time to avoid transfer fees.
📱 How to Contact the Rider and Confirm the Trip

Tap a trip inside the Needs Action folder.

Look for:

A red banner at the top:
“This ride has not been confirmed yet. Please call the rider first.” -
An orange swipe bar at the bottom:
“I reached out to confirm”

Tap the phone icon to call the rider.
You’ll see:-
Rider Phone Number

Pickup Phone (alternate number)

If the rider doesn’t answer:
-
Leave a voicemail
-
Then tap the 💬 chat bubble icon to send a message

Use the “Confirm your scheduled pickup” template

It opens your messaging app with trip details pre-filled
-
🧭 After You Reach Out: What to Select
Swipe the orange bar that says “I reached out to confirm”. Then choose one of the following:
✅ Yes, I confirmed with the rider

Select this if the rider confirmed the trip by phone or text
-
Tap Next
-
The trip will move out of Needs Action and show as Confirmed in green
🔁 No, try again later

Select this if you tried but didn’t get a response
-
Tap Next
-
The trip stays in Needs Action so you can try again
-
You can still swipe to start the trip on the day of pickup
❌ Rider declined the trip

Select this if the rider told you they do not need a ride
-
Tap Next

A message will appear:
“This is NOT a confirmation of cancellation. Please contact Support for further instructions.” -
Tap Call Support so we can remove the trip and assign another
