Wingz Drivers |
Wingz drivers are 1099 contractors using their own vehicles. All drivers in Virginia must have a valid drivers license, insurance, registration, Virginia state police inspection, social security card, and drive a 2013 vehicle or newer. |

Our System Area |
Wingz is currently prioritizing drivers based near Richmond, Charlottesville, and Hampton Roads (broken up into Tidewater, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Newport News). However, there is also a lot of demand outside of those areas. For more details, please discuss during your Welcome Call. Wingz drivers have the ability to define where it is they want to work and geo-fence their territory to receive requests mostly within their specified region. |

Plan your day in advance |
The majority of the trips that are available to drivers will be sent to your app 72 hours or more in advance. Being able to plan ahead means less stress. |

Feel good about helping others |
Wingz offers door-to-door service rather than curb-to-curb. What that means is, our drivers care about members, and that means helping our members when necessary. |

Earn on your own terms |
Wingz pays $1.08/mile and has a minimum fare of $10. That means, shorter distance trips can be lucrative, as well. There are no minimum or maximum amount of trips a driver can take in Virginia. Simply accept a trip by going into the Wingz driver app when a trip looks promising. |

Regular trips from Standing Orders |
Our most successful drivers take their members to the same location regularly. When a member has an appointment regularly and it's added to the Wingz platform, Wingz is able to send these Standing Orders to a specific driver. This is one of the various ways a driver can build their business, especially as they add on more members going to the same direction (known as multi-loading). |

What are the steps to start driving?

Upload your documents |
The first step in the process is document upload, where you'll upload your vehicle's documents. Required documents are valid registration, insurance, Virginia state police inspection, drivers license, social security card. We also require a picture of yourself and your vehicle. This process usually does not take more then a couple of hours. |

Meet a Wingz Employee to ask questions and learn about next steps |
After you upload your documents, you will be scheduled for your Welcome Call where a Wingz representative will call you and answer any questions as well as discuss what next steps look like. We may ask questions around your availability, goals, and objectives with Wingz. |

Complete the Wingz background check process |
Wingz conducts background checks on all drivers including MVR, Drug Screen, County, and National checks amongst others. We will text and email you instructions with how to consent to the background check. |

Complete your training with GenTech |
After clearing the background check portion of the process, you will receive an email from GenTech to register for your training. During this portion of the process, you will complete virtual trainings as well as a live webinar. While you are completing the virtual trainings, we will send you information about items you need to purchase to pass your in-person inspection. When the trainings are complete, you will schedule time with a Compliance Officer to have an in-person inspection of your vehicle and the items as well as your CPR hands-on training. |

Become Activated! |
Once the following is complete, our Wingz driver operations team will contact you to schedule an activation call to share how the app works and help with any final questions before hitting the road. Please note, our driver operations team is always available to help support throughout this process, simply send us a text message or email and we will respond. |
